Leadership at Grace Chapel

Hebrews 13:6-8 says, "Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith."

It goes on to say "obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you." (Hebrews 13:16-18)

As Christians, we are all part of God's household (Ephesians 2:19) called to function, participate, and minister in a particular place within the body of Christ. A healthy body requires that each member do its part and at the same time, it takes leaders to help coordinate, facilitate, direct, and serve the different teams of people. For this reason, Grace Chapel holds its leaders in high regard.

God, in His sovereignty, placed us in this city, among these people, in this century, for a reason (Acts 17:26–27). Grace Chapel leaders are men and women “on mission” who live, eat, and breathe the climate of the Boise metro everyday, and who are placed in the culture to emulate Jesus. These leaders also serve within the church: during Sunday services, as Small Group leaders, as teachers, team coordinators, on prayer teams, offering support to the sick and needy, showing hospitality, and on and on.

Leaders at Grace Chapel are called to a higher degree of responsibility and service. At the same time, the pastors and ministry overseers at Grace Chapel are commissioned to assist these leaders first and foremost, to love and lead, provide counsel and aid, as well as to pray for, teach, and guide.

Team Leaders & Assistants:
The size of each ministry depends on the function of that ministry. Within each ministry there are different teams. Different functions require different sized teams.

Each team is led by various team leaders and assistants. Every team has a leader and every leader has has a team. Because we value doing church as a team, Grace Chapel is a volunteer driven church.
