Children's Ministries
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
Jesus loves kids—and so do we. Grace Chapel's Children's Ministry is dedicated to partner with parents as they raise their children up in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). We believe children can handle deep truth at a young age and we want to challenge and encourage them in their love for God.
We believe that parents—before any other institution— are responsible for the spiritual nurturing of their children. As parents shepherd their kids through Scripture, our ministry serves as reinforcement to their teaching. After grade five, in fact, children are encouraged to join the adult Sunday service and continue learning alongside the rest of the church.
Co-op Nursery - Babies - Pre-school Age
We are committed to providing excellent childcare for babies, toddlers, and pre-school age children during the Sunday morning services. There is also a special room wired with closed circuit T.V. of the Sunday morning service for nursing moms.
Children - Elementary Age (K - 5th)
Our children's program is an interactive learning experience for children ages K through grade five. Our volunteers and leaders are trained to give your children the best in Bible teaching, dramas, object lessons, and age appropriate games in a loving and fun atmosphere. Kids Church is provided during the Sunday morning service.
Sunday Check-in Process
If you're new to the Grace Chapel’s Children's Ministry, please come 15 minutes early to get familiar with the check-in process. You'll need to fill out a family registration card. One of our Children’s leaders will help you. They will also check your kid(s) in, and you'll be given a guest coupon.
Parents are invited to return to pick up their kids when the sermon ends at the end of the service. You'll be asked to show your coupon to the lead teacher in the classroom your child is in.
Safety and Security Measures
Grace Chapel takes all the precautionary measures it can to keep kids safe while in Children's Ministry.
All Children's Ministry volunteers and staff have had a criminal background check and been verified as able to serve in the Children's Ministry by the Grace Chapel Pastoral team. All those applying to serve must be regular attenders for at least three months to be considered for application.
During Sunday Services, no one is allowed in the Children's Ministry rooms unless they have a coupon or they are part of the Grace Chapel leadership team.
Children are not released to anyone unless they are: (1) an adult, and (2) are able to present the matching coupon that the child was originally checked in under at the beginning of the class.
No one who has been convicted of a sex offense is allowed in the Children's Ministry - volunteer or parent.
